4.00000% how unthematic:ermm:

40.000% should have been the target........

Plus, you would feel just like you'd been hit on the head with an actual warhammer the next day, so it'd be quite authentic.

How is the Corpse Starch lately?

Not been, don't think they serve that though lol.

I do recall they used to have something called the "Ogre Challenge" burger. A huge double cheeseburger with fries and onion rings. I'd like to give it a go if they still do it when I finally have the chance to go to Warhammer World.

Very hoppy?

How do they taste?

Yeah the Boltgun is a very hop-forward hazy IPA. Lots of flavour, but has that sort of piney sharpness you can get with a hazy IPA. As I say I enjoyed it, but not a beer I'd have very many of at a time. One to savour for a while with a good book in hand.

Stormcast is a solid lager. Clean tasting with a slight sweetness and plenty of malty flavour. I'd say its quite similar to Innis and Gunn lager and or Hop House 13. Very easy and enjoyable to drink. Plus they serve it is pint steins now which in my opinion makes beer even better (and easier to drink many of...)

Bugman's XXXXXX is the same as it's always been, a pretty standard, but quality, ale. Not too hoppy or malty, and low carbination so quite easy drink. Its also a lower ABV than Stormcast (4% compared to 4.5%) so a slightly lighter option. Though that being said none of the beer served at Bugman's are particularly strong.

There were a few new beers in bottles I didn't get to try this trip (a stout, a porter, a butterscotch ale and another I can't remember) as I elected to bring home Bugman's House blend coffee beans and an Ordo Hereticus battleforce in the bag space I had left. But next time I'll be sampling those. I do hope in the future we get another 40k themed beer in the line up.

I'd love to sample Bugman's Brew at some point; last time I went to WHW I was still a beardling too young for alcohol! I wonder if they still have the Troll Brew?

Re: Boltgun, it's a shame it's another "wet hops" IPA, as the market is rather saturated with those and it's not something I particularly care for. More of a fan of dark, sticky ales myself. Now, if they bring out a "Black Crusade" stout, I'll be all over that!
