Brent of Goobertown Hobbies and Casey of eBay Miniature Rescues (Youtubers) have come together to make Goblin Hobbies, and their first project is a "Paint Stamper" that is a kind of replacement to decals.

Here's a link to the Vid and introduction, the product is Coming Soon, but I'm signed up.

They were popular last year, had a few buddies trying them out. It's a different paint medium so it can be a bit finicky from what I've heard; these stampers have been used for acrylic nails for a while.

Goobertown hobbies are good people tho so I hope they find success with this.

I wonder how well this would work on curved surfaces like shoulder and knee pads. Also, making the actual stamps in Chapter/Legion symbols might run into copyright issues.

Still, definitely an interesting concept. Transfers never look quite right to me, I hope this works out.

Here's some more videos on the process;

as others have said - there are nail techiques that use these and I've seen a few videos of the same being done on models. It is the logical progression to have a hobby product to do this too and yes, as an Ork collect, I am indeed salivating! ...and also as a Dark Angels collector - check patterns everywhere!!!!!
