Great news. I'm not necessarily planning to pick the box up right away if at all but plans sometimes change, perhaps if I can convince a friend to split it with me. Still,  the sooner this one is out the sooner the next one can arrive and the Sanctifiers will be available separately.

Any ideas on price? I can't see this costing tha much with a rational head on, but then again GW pricing isn't rational.

 

It could happily sit at £65 and look ok imo as its a pair of £40ish teams and just a statue in reality. I also know gw will claw at the £80 mark.

A 'no' from me. I only want the Imperial team and the statue from this box.

 

The mechanic for this team just doesn't work for me

 

Getting close for your kills is important as the Gore Tanks carried by operatives can only be filled when somebody dies within arm’s reach. They start half full and each half can be expended to activate one of six powerful Sanguavitae abilities, which range from healing grievous wounds to adding APL – handy for picking up mission actions between all the killing.

 

That said, it is meant to be Kill Team rather than Objective Team after all.

Dunno there, everyone starting with a "pain token" with the option to bank up to two at time could work. Eight man team with 3APL on turn 2 sounds like it could have some potential (especially if friendlies can also fill the tanks).

 

I'm assuming one of the other abilities is fight twice, but not sure what it'd take to make me consider any other options over that, 3APL or heal.

Shame there's no fall damage for harpooning snipers off of their vantage points.

Oh wow was able to snag one 3h after it went online at Taschengelddieb. It seems like there is enough stock this time. (at least for the german version)

I havent been ordering off GW in a while so that eas a surprise to me as stuff usually goes in 3 mins.

Looks like it took a few hours to sell out on the bigger UK third parties. Still available on the GW store, but I think that's more indictative of the teams not being crowd pleasers than anything else. The influencer reviews point to both being OP though, so I reckon they'll quickly become scarcer.

I don’t see much mention of the cards/narrative missions. How are those looking, for the less competitively minded?

It’s a bit cheaper than the previous boxes. I’m guessing that Goremongers and Sanctifiers will be the same price as Inquisiorial agents.

Fair question. I thought they might have covered those in the box review, which I didn’t work on. I haven’t seen the cards myself so can’t help I’m afraid. I’m sure there’ll be information out there somewhere.

I was going to grab a set of tankbustas from GW as I've got a voucher. They're out of stock before pre orders were due to be live. UK still has stock yet Canada is out before we began? Honestly appalling.

Only 2 sprues for each team, so probably not £42.5 for one box?
