3k Emperor's Children - will it work?

I've (almost) finally gotten my collection to a point where I think I can field a reasonably viable 3k list. This is what I've come up with - is it at least serviceable? I've tried to go for a combined arms approach while also playing to the legion's trait & unique options.

Herald & Apothecary go with the Palatines, Armistos goes with the Kakophoni. I'd also try and get Night Fighting as all my ranged units can at least ignore the range cap, and most have Night Fight.

Another one, very different that I'm keen to try - is it too oppressive? I don't think the Legiones Hereticus rules are very good and Fulgrim is pretty overpriced so hopefully doesn't come across as WAAC?

Fulgrim runs with the Assault Marines, with Apothecary and Jump Champion for Preferred Enemy. He can jump out as needed to pursue other targets and the assault blob still remains a fierce threat. The other two Artificer-armoured jump squads strike targets of opportunity (Eidolon taking enemy objectives). Contemptors troubleshoot, Tacs hold backline. Kakophoni try and pin something with Fulgrim's Fear (2), Sunkillers & Kratos provide ranged AT.
