Speculation, Wulfen Brutalis?

Do you think the Wolves will get a Brutalis of their own, like Blood Angels did? Would be cool to have one with a 4++ shield and  axe, or hammer or something. Ordered a shield and hammer from only games, mostly becaurse it would look cool, but rules for one would be good  too.

What about a new, bigger Bjorn?

I'm not sure how the Primaris lore applies to Dreds, are they saying it's like USB-C is not backwards compatible, so USB-Bjorn can't get the upgrade.  But it would be nice to see a close-combat SW Dred, and Bjorn get a new shiny chassis, but I worry we're seeing more of the unique units being nerfd.

Ah, so the marine needs to have been a primaris to "fit" in the new dreads? Size wise, the sarcofaguses seems to be the same, old and new dreads.

Is it still canon that Primaris Dreadnoughts "burn out" those interred within?

My understanding of dreads is that MIUs are locked in and can’t be swapped, as fun as that would be. No idea how they’re gonna explain any changes to character dread chassis (outside the magic of just PRETEND IT WAS ALWAYS LIKE THIS!!!). 
 

THAT said, if we manage to retain unique dreadnoughts I’ll be very pleased. I keep forgetting about the Death Company dreads but I haven’t been optimistic about them since it feels like vehicle upgrades are gonna wait until 11th or 12th to get updated.

If we do get a Primaris Wulfen Dreadnought, it will almost certainly be a reskin of the Brutalis ala Death Company Dread rather than anything with unique weapon options.

Maybe a controversial opinion but I don’t mind a reskin if the rules are cool. I can stick any appealing wolf bling on myself, if my angry boi is fun to play. It would be sad to see the wolf dreads just get lost in the sands of time, and I wouldn’t want to let perfect be the enemy of good here. (They ought to use that for the name of a theoretical EC vs Salamanders box, though)

From what i recall the marine is in a sarcophagus which is the life support bit which did not necessarily need to be put in the dred.  I remember reading a CSM story where the marine was put in the sarcophagus but did not have that put into a dred so was basically enraged as he could not move or do anything.

 

While Bjorn sleeps he could be taken out the dred and put into another upgraded dred but would possibly needs to be recalibrated etc

After this spring, people would sort faction model updates into two sorts, the "Space wolves way", and the "Blood Angels(/Death company) way". 

 

You really shouldn't expect or wish anything in BA way, even shouldn't mention their names…haven't you realize that how much other players envy your way?

Maybe I'm wrong but it sure looks like Death Company can still take multiple special melee weapons. Trade you, let GH and BC have their multiple special melee weapons back and only have upgrade kits and you get cool plastic models but only Astartes Chainswords for Death Company.

Rules can be shifted by versions. Cool model would stay for 7-10 years, even longer.

 

Wulfen model has hammer weapon which have appearance of "thunder hammer", and once had rules as thunder hammer, but today it is "Wulfen hammer".

I can print literally anything I want. There are plenty of good models out there. If your rules are trash ie: Wulfen Hammers, Heirloom Weapons, they suck compared to say... power fists and Thunder Hammers.
