Karl Kopinski has posted an update on his Instagram indicating they are in ill-health (recovering from a severe stroke that occurred a few weeks ago, and currently in remission from cancer) and presently unable to work. He's indicated he'll likely be arranging a GoFundMe and sale of some of his art pieces to help fund treatment / rehabilitation, as well as sharing videos detailing his recovery and return to drawing.

Sad to hear about; certainly he's one of the artists that I consider to have contributed heavily to GW's collection of iconic imagery. So much of my childhood - poring over Codexes - wouldn't have been the same without his works.

I wish him all the best.

He is only 53 and already sadly suffered a lot.

I love his style.

As @LSM said it it ingrained in me his great works for Catachans and Inquisition and so many wonderful artworks.

I love his art. I've been raising money for various charities over the last few years by giving grinds to law students. When the go fund me gets set up I'll try to get donations for it.

PerhPs there is something rhe community can do?

Found the link at gofundme for everyone interested:

Ouh crap.

All our nerd heroes getting old. :(

Best wishes to Karl and his loved ones at this time. As others have mentioned, his work, along with Adrian Smith's work, is Warhammer art at its very, very best. I hope he recovers well.

The GoFundMe link has been active for a few days, and has raised just under £64,000 so far, which is an excellent showing from the community.

Is there anything else we can do to raise awareness? @Chapter Master Valrak is this something you might be able to promote?

I had no idea he was having health problems - very sad to hear about it and hope he manages a full and speedy recovery. He’s way too young to be dealing with these sorts of issues

And of course, as others have said, he’s a phenomenal and important artist in his own right and he’s had a big part in shaping the GW universes, even if he’s not quite as OG as Blanche, Miller etc.

Donated in a heartbeat as soon as I heard.  Kopinski already had to deal with enough health problems in the past (bike accident) and he seems like a really cool guy. Wasn't hard to throw some money his way instead of some other hobby stuff it might have been spent on. :)
