Mordekiem
I haven't played my Templar since 5th edition. There are a ton of new units! Is there an easy list online or youtube or something that goes thru all the options BT (or even marines) get and maybe has a pic and a brief rundown of what they do? Everythign I am finding online is either fluff or What's good/bad. Fun and useful as well, but just a list of stuff and a brief breakdown would be nice. :) Thanks brothers! Mordekiem
thanks! I found a copy of a codex online and went thru most of the stuff. Enough so that I think I got a better idea of what all the new units are. I do think I need a Gladiator or two now...I always liked backing my Templar up with some heavy armor. Medjugorje
btw.. you cant play regular Gladiators - you must play Black Templar Gladiators (another Datasheet) which are 10 points more but have a multimelta you can download the Black Tmeplar index for free.... the Supplement is not far away. Brother Richard
Much like you Mordekiem, I have just begun playing from older versions. I found an easy and free army builder (newrecruit) that so far has stayed pretty current with the updates. Allows me to plug and play then build an army with what I have and helps me know what I need to buy/build to get rolling again. There is a caveat that with the new 'primaris' marines a lot of our older troops are now called 'legends' and not eligible for tournament play. My local group has a mix of those who play tournament legal only and those who don't care so I have no problem learning the game again. Good luck, have fun, and keep us posted on how you are doing. Don't glue the turret ring plate. When rules favor impulsor more or your lists need implusors more, a gladiator model can become an impulsor model immediately.
