I'm feeling like it's time for another round of Marine reveals.

Perhaps the refreshed codex characters that are being rumored? Vulkan, Lysander, etc

Yeah, Marines could really use some support. Marine players have been getting by with only 100 datasheets for far too long.

Let's not do this again...

We know they're coming. Ultimately, the next chunk of releases are power armour/ knights so it is where we are.

This forum is named "bolter and chainswords". You know what it means yeah?

If we go by what the range could use, then Gargoyles, Warriors or Raveners. If we go by what GW feel like doing, it might be an entirely new unit or an upgrade sprue for an existing one.

So far this Kill Team season it's been all new kits and no upgrade sprues, so I'd be inclined to say it's not going to be that. But just as easily as the upgrade sprues stopped, they might start again at any given moment.

While the Servitors vs Tyranids on a Tyranid planet boxset comes from a so far reliable  source, there is no 100% certainity it is the next boxset for volkus and not the first boxset of a new season ( set on a Tyranid-infested planet ) coming after the next.

The Grey knights kill team is an older rumor and like the khorne one could be vs an as of yet undertermined enemy, things in favor of this is that kill teams often are either very close to their codex ( and included therein) or very far away, however then there is the ad mech like rumor engines that are getting a bit old and wich where the reason, until the Admech servitor rumor, i was getting convinced the grey knights kill team is a GK techmarine with servitors and/Or inquisition  battle robots like we saw in one of the New artworks tot imperial agents codex.

So adepticon KT reveal options is imho either ( I find it hard to pick one for my prediction):

- Servitors vs Tyranids ( most likely ?) And volkus gets nomnommed.

either updated warriors or something new for tyranids, maybe a wildly diversified and independent form of Gaunts? If not warriors i expect more something weird and new.

- Grey knights vs Something chaos that flew under the radar. ( so... chaos squats haha), maybe more TS psy automata stuff to go with the rumored bigger ones... could explain flying under the radar. GK vs TS makes sense with codex timing.

Next season : a season full on a tyranid planet.

And my bonus madness theory:

- Grey knights Servitors vs Beastsnagga Orknid Hybrids

Wait! Hear me out, there is a 0,1% chance its this  :p

this merges both rumors into one... meaning the only unfulfilled KT rumor is exodites, wich is expectable.

1. Rumor engines, around the time of the Servitor like rumor engines we also had 2 rumor engines ( 1 cyborg hand and one mechanic element perceived as a leg ) that is mostly seen as Thousand sons, but the paintjob and some details are 1:1 with beast snaggas ( im not convinced it is that, but its enough for the 0,2% mad theory.)

2.Weird as it sounds, it would work in the volkus story with the ork meteor heading to volkus... hell, wildly mutated Orks might be enough to alert people on volkus they are daemonic orks.. cue grey knights.. though maybe more likely the grey knight techmarine already was on volkus. Though to keep it thematically the orknids could be led by a warphead.

After typing this im getting more convinced this has a 0,4% of being the correct prediction

My post was intended to be tongue in cheek. I understand that Marines keep the lights on, so I am fully prepared for a Lieutenant with Power Pinky Ring to release alongside more space goats for Thousand Sons, and a Jakhal (but with metal arms this time, aren’t you excited?) character for World Eaters.

A rescaled rubric box would be insane! Heresy conspicuous by it's absence...

Rubrics are pretty new and frankly they're a good amount tall. I wouldn't bank on them getting a retool at any point soon.

I’m hoping for an Admech Sniper, but this time stilts ON TOP of a ladder. That would rule. He would be even TALLER making him more Better bestest admech character.

No I’m not salty about the awesome 30k Mechanicus at all.

So what are we thinking for KillTeam? It feels to early for the next box surely?

Personally I'm hoping for a Narrative Joint Ops expansion book, provide tool to run a campaign with some progression against NPC opponents, including boss style enemy operatives, and any number of other possible developments on the Joint Ops system.

Wildcard and unlikely reveal prediction - We are due another Warhammer Quest game, hopefully set in the 40K universe again. Didn't they say it was meant to alternate between fantasy/AoS and 40K?

Blackstone Fortress 2018),

Cursed City (2021)

New game?

Be nice if it was a Space Hulk themed Warhammer Quest

Could be a Narrative/PvE expansion. One new team, then a generic 40k unit to serve as NPCs, plus some terrain and dead tree crunch.

Or another Ashes of Faith where there's no new terrain, just two teams and some narrative content (but everybody buys it for comp anyway).

Seeing as the store anniversary mini is space hulk themed, it wouldn't surprise me if we get a remake sooner rather than later.

To be honest the 1-2 week random Saturday preview was weirder than knowing a couple of months out.

Kill Team kind of has a history of weird announcement to release times. We waited for a hot minute for  Nightmare upon first preview, whereas Blood and Zeal wasn't the first time we had s super quick turn around. I think Kill Team Termination had a super quick turn around too, as well as Gallowfall.

In a shocking twist, they announce a Thousand Sons terrain piece that turns your Tzaangors into Rubric Marines after you've killed some enemy space marines/battlelines.

:woot:

"In fact the Warhammer we'll be covering is so new that we've had to get a Tech-Priest to approve the data slate..."

Between that and the Tyranid terrain, sounds like a sneaky tease about the KT rumour. Or I'm reading too much into it.

Man, really no Heresy on the schedule. Could be a surprise trailer, but if not this would be the first adepticon in a while they hadn't shown anything for the big release in the summer

Last year AoS trailer, year before that 40k, year before that Heresy trailer

HH wasn't down for a reveal at Nova till they revealed something anyway, wouldn't put it past them sneaking something in at the end as a surprise.

I wonder if it could be related to Valrak's rumour of 40k 11th coming sooner than expected somehow? Could Heresy end up moved to August's slot instead of Warcry? It'd be wild, but I'm still traumatised over 6th edition only lasting a year and a half, so never say never.
