I am wondering what will be in the Combat Patrol. Normally they include whatever is not going in the limited army box (e.g. DAs and BAs). But the limited box includes both Blood Claws and Grey Hunters. So will the CP be elite-heavy with lots of Terminators? BAs got 2 squads of Sanguinary Guard so it is plausible. Will there be any Battleline units, will they duplicate BCs or GHs from the army box or will there be some Intercessors with an upgrade sprue for decoration?

So many questions.

I hope they don’t pile the Combat Patrol full of terminators.  Then I’d have to buy it and there goes my Dark Angels street cred.

Mine's already gone, I started with SW and have always maintained both a SW and DA army since I got active again.

This is the best refresh in a long time, imo. Even better than the Black Templar one. And way better than Blood Angels.

I certainly wish that instead of bolt rifles, the crusader squad kit had bolt carbines (aka normal, tradtionally sized bolters that actually looks proportionate to the marine) like the new grey hunters have.

It also would have been nice if the Crusader Squad was two distinct  sprues like the grey hunters and most marine kits; the chained bolt pistols/chainswords being limited to just three sets has started to be a frustration for me, as the positioning/pose of said arms really start to demonstrate their limitations when using them on vanilla SM bodies to make initiates; there are a lot of body poses they just don't work with. Unfortunately the SB weapon sets don't offset this all that much, as those arms are very much tailored towards the poses in that specific kit as well.

I really want this to happen, but I fear that it won't. Today 5/2 we got the Death Guard Faction Focus on WarCom. If they don't do the WE and DG Crusade focus articles on WarCom today, that leaves it for next week.

If TS and SW box is revealed Sunday, they'll want to be talking about it all week. So personally I think we have yet another week to go before anything for TS or SW.

I think SW alongside TS codex is a realistic expectation since DG/WE had a dual release.

I think the soulblight remaining release for AoS is more likely. They're not going to do back to back 40k releases.

Would they do a new combat patrol? I would hate to see them have to waste datasheets on putting intercessors in the codex to cover that patrol.

I think every faction gets a Combat Patrol. Assault Intercessors were a perfect Troop unit for Blood Angels but on reflection, the only difference between the ones in the CP from the army box is that the boxed ones were painted in Death Company colours.

So maybe we will see some overlap and the CP could contain a second squad of BCs/GHs. I do still expect to see WG TDA in the CP.

The current CP also has the old Battle Leader in it, which is probably getting retired with the multi-option model coming.

EDIT: Just checked the webstore and it's been 404'ed so that answers that I suppose.

Wich might have been the reason we got an empty week in between ;)

I think the no back to back thing is not arbitrary and thus might be a time-pattern sensitive thing. ( as in.. its not that they dont want 2 back to back 40k releases, but rather they cant*)

Thus while it isnt a week of something else, an empty week between 2 40k weeks still covers the "no back to back" thing going on.

*my closest theory is that their Schedule rotates all main factory duty to one of the two main systems entirely for 2 weeks each ( new as well as old kit production )  so that you can keep the process as automated as possible. Then have a day or two switching all tooling and then two weeks of the other. Whereas non main game skus are in a less automated system.

But i dont know enough about factory processes
