You don't have to sculpt your own fur anymore. Don't listen to people telling you just greenstuff it. 99% of people who sculpt their own fur will suck at it and we're all just being polite. I got pretty decent at sculpting fur but it was always be inferior to a pro-sculpted plastic and if I had to spend an evening carving down a Headtaker back piece to fit, I'd rather do that than ever sculpt my own fur ever again.

Absolutely agreed. There is ppl who can do it properly, like Inso, but sorry his sculpting experience greater then my current lifespan. And there is a lot 3d printed things. Better to put nice bit of plastic with little cutting, then torture green stuff.

Just catching up on this thread lol. I have the book and in terms of wolf scouts, it very specifically talks about them wearing phobos armour and discusses the personality types that come together to form the various phobos units. There is no reference to carapace armour at all so I think old style wolf scouts are gone and it's phobos all the way now.

It also talks about hounds of morkai and basically makes it that they are just reivers so I think they are permanently gone as well.

 

It's frustrating that the rules from the supplement don't benefit any phobos units as I love the aesthetic and the lore of wolf scouts but it is what it is, we will see if the faq at the main release fixes this.

 

 

Another fun point from the book that I don't know if has been mentioned yet, on Armageddon, stormrider was destroyed by a demon prince of khorne. So an incarnation of rage destroyed Logan's sleigh lol
