Is there a list/summary anywhere?

I can try using Google Fu later to give you a list but oftentimes I shill Tortuga as if I worked for them. I know they have some Grey Knight bodies of some kind and the other Marine bodies they have size up well. Here's a size comparison of a Mk3 dude from Prospero vs a Tortuga body with arms (I haven't painted anything yet I know)

If you are willing to practice the Forbidden Techniques, you can find a bunch by searching for things like "Silver Knights," "Grey Wardens," "Daemon Hunters" and similar names on Cults. Some are very bad but others are really good upscaled versions of the existing kits.

I’m getting Tortuga bodies along side Crow and dread knights plastics. I have a heap of the old grey knights but they are tiny and I don’t like the look anymore. Haven’t played 40K for years and will only be playing against mates. We don’t have any official GW tournaments here in Oz so I don’t need to worry about 3rd party bans. Starting again from scratch. I have no idea what I am doing as I last played 6th or 7th edition.

Its a shame, current kits are great, many options and POSABLE. New kit we all know is gonna a batter sculpt, but monopose copy paste with less options.

The Emperor's Children range was really good about this - still more "naturally" dynamic than the old system (see: Rubric Marines) but not requiring the cutting and gap-filling that going off-instructions in a lot of other kits entails (see: Plague Marines).

There's hope.

Will definitely lose options, though. To greatly enlarge the Marines themselves, while maintaining the number of sprues... something's gotta give. (Unless they are willing to go from a two-sprue kit to a three-sprue one, but that's quite the jump in internal costs.)

Well, some people don't game and just paint/model, so they'll buy what they like the look of the most.

Right, but every persons hobby is unique to them and how they want to do it. If Wispy wants an all GW Grey Knight army then that's their prerogative. Don't see why its worth making a big deal over?

On topic: I really like the GK and always wanted to start a small force. I even own the metal terminator squad from back of the days, but I wouldn't touch the current plastic minis with a red hot pincher till GW gives them an overhaul.
