Some interesting (and good!) changes there, along with some clarifications. A few highlights:

Quote

Page 48 – March Orders Change this Order to: ‘Each model within a Detachment issued with the March Order may move up to a number of inches equal to twice its Movement characteristic. Models in a Detachment issued a March Order may not fire during the First Fire or Advancing Fire stages of the Combat phase.

... a much-requested change that should go a long way to reducing the overall effectiveness of infantry – and am I right in thinking it'll also curb the relative strength of point defence weapons? +Edit: no, it will not make a difference +

Quake now... y'know, works. (And Shock Pulse, for similar reasons)

Quote

Page 83 – Quake Change this Trait to: ‘If one or more Hits are scored against a Detachment by a weapon with the Quake trait: • The next time that Detachment moves, halve the Movement characteristic of all models within that Detachment. • The next time that Detachment fires, subtract 1 from the result of any Hit rolls the Detachment makes. This Trait is ignored if all Hits scored by a weapon with this Trait are allocated to a target’s Void Shields.

Again, curbing the power of infiltrating infantry.

Yeah nice to see some changes, particularly those that folk genuinely found needed it.

I would like Rend to be adjusted still, as any unit with it becomes premium and I find it weird that a power axe section of hoomans can merc Terminators so easily.

I'm pretty impressed with the core book faq, the great slaughter one feels a bit empty, still no acknowledgement that they forgot to include point savings for every detachment in the book. The changes to mechanicum are a mixed bag, happy the triaros can't carry thanatars anymore, weirdly they made myrmidon destructors even better by just giving them both weapons per base. Thallax lost their plasma fusils but got multi-meltas they're actually modelled with. Myrmidon secutors got the thallax's plasma fusils, again seemingly they like the destructors now all have 2 weapons per base, very strong.

The core rule changes are great, no more charging from infiltrate, march only being 2x now for everything, quake and shock pulse fixed.
