Ah what a bummer about that hellturkey.  Guess T 10 is still going to be better then the other ones.  At 2+ with T 10 I was hoping it fill the role of a somewhat 2nd mauler fiend that I dont have currently.  Oh well, at least it should tear up flying stuff better.

One would hope that it would see a points drop. 2+ to 3+ is a sizable change, statistically.

Great to see the change on our battleline choices' power sword - there is now a reason to take it, thankfully, and it never made sense that it was different from all the other power swords in the codex.  And I agree the now missing PRECISION is almost certainly a typo and will itself be corrected - certainly I intend to play it as such if I get a game in before the correction.

Weird that the -1 from the noise marines stacks - pretty much nothing else in the game does.  I mean, it does mean you get a bit more of a benefit from focusing fire, but its strange.

The Coterie change for when you don't have a warlord is nice, but also surprising - its not the way I would have thought it should work, given both the rule's original wording and what I saw as its intent.  I guess they didn't want to encourage a "hide the warlord" play style.

Not surprised the heck turkey heldrake got its armour save reduced - it never really made any sense that it had a better save than the other demon engines.  I'm doubtful it will come down in points because of it, as I suspect this is the correction of a typo, rather than a rules tweak.

Errata isn't up in the Warcom downloads section yet, but it should be soon and I'll ty to keep an eye out for it.

It was always S 5 - it was just the Battleline units that had S 4 power swords.

Yeap at home and noticed that the Battleline units had S 4 power swords and everyone else that could get one is S 5  Since I need to use a Sorcerer in a few weeks.  Noticed he has a S 6 force weapon.

Starting to see the tournament results of EC.  I think its mostly people dont know how to deal with the army yet.  Along with all the winning lists. They're using the Coterie detachment. I can see it as throw away cheap scoring, and screening units are currently the meta.  So, the army to be able to get 3+ unit kills right away helps.  Then here lies the problem with these lists coming out of things.  With 17 datasheets to 5 of the 6 detachments.  You're now seeing character spam in Winged demon princes and lord exhalants.  Then noise marines to a degree.  Problem I see is Noise Marines are like an iconic unit and wish they where battleline instead but eh.  Hopefully GW dosent nerf hammer due to the spamming of units.  When you only have 17/22 datasheets to pick from.  That or add things like bikers, raptors, warptalons, hellbrutes, terrorfiends, defilers and predators.  Its like who didnt expect with a slimmed down list of options you would see spam of the best units.

FAQ is now up: https://assets.warhammer-community.com/eng_14-05_warhammer_40000_codex_faq_and_errata_emperor's_children-os1jbseyln-4sxktk1dqq.pdf

Its pretty much what was described above by @LSM.  One note, I'll need to double check the original wording to see if this is an actual change, but the Rapid Evisceration strat (which lets you embark after killing something in melee) makes both the embarking unit and the transport targets, meaning you can only use it if neither are battleshocked - which to me is a bit weird.

Edit: Checked the codex - strat is called On to the Next and it is worded the same in regards to targets.
