Ohhh excellent question. I’m torn I could see either way. But as a Grey knight player and using a daemon prince’s real name against him I would have to say Daemon Primarch is stronger and the bigger bad.

but in terms of sway I would have to say Daemon Prince

I imagine there's no way of getting a concrete answer- it is, anyway, kind of against the grain for the 40k setting to have a definite yes/no for such a relatively inconsequential thing. Generally the GW policy of having as few definte answers as possible is something I agree with, because it means you can give things the flavour you most like in your own head.

But I'll also note that true daemons are entirely creatures of the warp, whereas daemon princes are a combination of the matierial and immaterial; which must make for advantages in certain situations and disadvantages in others. So it follows that a daemon prince that is also a primarch must have a marked advantage in the physical realm, being made of more impressive stuff than a former mere mortal. On the other hand of course, a truly ancient daemon prince like Uraka Az'Baramael has had literally dozens upon dozens more millenia than a primarch to accrue power and the favour of his patron.

So I think you can probably write it any way you want to satisfy whatever story you want to tell, is what I'm driving at..
