kabaakaba
I have few resie minis and use cianacrilate glue last time, and it's works bad. it's don't hold and easily breaks apart. also it's dry way to long. what glue do you use for resine kits? Solution Grotsmasha Posted Friday at 12:13 PM Solution Share Posted Friday at 12:13 PM I use dollar store super glue that comes in a bottle with a brush applicator. Super Glue works best on a rough surface, so a rough sand, or simply scoring both sides with your hobby knife prior to gluing will aid in a stronger bond. If you really, REALLY dont want bits to come off, you can drill and insert a pin to further hold the pieces together. Brass rod, and paper clips are common choices for this. kabaakaba and Firedrake Cordova 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385718-resine-glue/#findComment-6105672 Share on other sites
Oxydo
If you haven't, wash the resin in soap and water before gluing and painting. Unwashed resin can prevent cyanoacrylate glue from hardening properly. phandaal
Liquid Loctite. That is cyanoacrylate, but the liquid part is the key. Glue jel is horrible, liquid glue locks the parts down in a few seconds. kabaakaba 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385718-resine-glue/#findComment-6105708 Share on other sites
crimsondave
My experience using super glue got way better when I started using this stuff…. Spoiler Just don’t get super glue on your hand and accidentally spray this on it. It burns. I know.
