1500 p list

Hi! I'm actually a Space Wolves player but a while ago I got so madly tired of just painting different shades of grey so when I got some Tyranids I decided to start playing them too. Since I'm very new to Tyranids I would love some help creating an army list. My friends and I mainly play 1500 points.

 

Would anyone like to help me put together a list of 1500 points for me? And please suggest detachment for me. I would like to play with big bugs.
Is there any unit missing to make the list even better going forward? I would be happy to buy one or more extra units if you suggest it. I've always liked gargoyles.

So if your going mostly big bugs, the Crusher Stampede is general the goto detachment (+2 OC if unwounded, +1 to hit when wounded, +1 to wound if under half wounds). Plus the strategem selection isn’t bad, with full to-hit rerolls, auto deadly demise and a minor tank shock. I threw a list together, not sure what weapons you have for those that have options. But this should get you started.

crusher is the normal go to. But Assimilation swarm also works well.

This is 2k points. cut 1 tyranofex since you only have 1 right now. cut the Norn Assimilator since you don't have one right now, and 1 ripper swarm. that is 500 points.

you are missing some of the other units, but maybe something to look at or consider.
