=] EVENT: Call to Arms 2025: ORKS [=

Greetings all Warlords and Warbosses.

 

Call to Arms is back this year, but @Dr_Ruminahui will be running it for @Grotsmasha.  For those new to B&C or simply unaware, Call to Arms is a Forum wide event that this year runs from June 15th until September 15th!

 

The forum is split up into 5 Strongholds: Imperium, loyal Astartes (which is new this year), Chaos, Xenos and Heresy with all 5 factions competing against one another to paint the most in the 3 months time limit. There will be a Central hub thread for each of the Strongholds in the Work in Progress section of the Forge forum which will be linked once it's live. We can use thread to cross post in and track/give motivation to those participating.  For those of you familiar with previous Call to Arms events, the rules are exactly the same this year except for loyal Astartes being their own stronghold.

Note: Custom/Scratchbuilt terrain- use this list as a guide as to how many points tour terrain is worth, but please make sure to mention your terrain is custom when Vowing.

 

 

All points are per model. For example if you pledge 20 Boyz(1ptx20), 3 Deff Koptas (2ptsx3), a Snazzwagon (4pts), and a Warboss (5pts), your vow would be worth 35pts

 

Please feel free use this thread as a place to share your thoughts, ideas, and WIPs prior to the Event to motivate and inspire the Orks and Xenos to Victory!!!  After June 15th, please do the same in the Xenos Stronghold!

Painboss (Counts as Boss? 40mm + 25mm base)

Painboy (Bigger/more complex than a standard Boy, but still a 32mm base)

Are they both characters?  If so, they are each 5 points and any attendants they might have (that are on separate bases) are 1 point each.

'Ullo, Gitz!

I've joined the Orks for this year's CTA and pledged some Goff Boyz to the cause.

21 points to kick things off. If I do well, there's a Big Mek, Trukk and maybe even a Mek Gun that could be added!

I've decided to join the CTA pledge to help me finish off my orks.  

I am pledging a total of 22  points 

So time to Increase the WAAGGGHHH!!!!!!

 Sadly the points will only count as the 2 bomb squigs, 10 lootas, and a warboss.   I also have a mek that i will be picking up this week, so it could actually be 18-22 points depending on if i can include him and what points he would cost.
