=] EVENT: Call to Arms 2025: AGE OF DARKNESS [=

Greetings all warlords of the Age of Darkness.

 

Call to Arms is back this year, but @Dr_Ruminahui will be running it for @Grotsmasha.  For those new to B&C or simply unaware, Call to Arms is a Forum wide event that this year runs from June 15th until September 15th!

 

The forum is split up into 5 Strongholds: Imperium, loyal Astartes (which is new this year), Chaos, Xenos and Heresy with all 5 factions competing against one another to paint the most in the 3 months time limit. There will be a Central hub thread for each of the Strongholds in the Work in Progress section of the Forge forum which will be linked once it's live. We can use thread to cross post in and track/give motivation to those participating.  For those of you familiar with previous Call to Arms events, the rules are exactly the same this year except for loyal Astartes being their own stronghold.

Note: Custom/Scratchbuilt terrain- use this list as a guide as to how many points tour terrain is worth, but please make sure to mention your terrain is custom when Vowing.

 

 

All points are per model. For example if you pledge 20 Legionaires (1ptx20), 3 Outriders (2ptsx3), a Javelin (3pts), and a Praetor (5pts), your vow would be worth 34pts

 

Please feel free use this thread as a place to share your thoughts, ideas, and WIPs prior to the Event to motivate and inspire the forces of the Emperor or Warmaster and the Heresy to Victory!!!  After June 15th, please do the same in the Heresy Stronghold!

Pledging all this for Heresy as I have an UM Armoured Spearhead to complete before October (so most will need to be done by the end of this anyway).

 

This might change with Heresy 3.0 points but it's currently.

I think that's a pledge of 78 points.

Provided those aren't IA scale models, my math comes out to 78 points as well.  Happy painting!

I’m considering pledging the following for heresy (loyalists), although not sure if I will split it across several smaller pledges or have one large one.

 

1 consul

20 marines

2 rhinos

1 spartan

2 sicarans

6 jetbikes

2 armigers

2 castellax

6 thallax

 

If thallax are 1 point and castellax 3, that should be 85 points.  Not sure I can finishing painting all the above during the event timeframe either so might need to trim the list. Or add to it.  My heresy pile to paint is quite a bit larger than this.

I’ll probably pledge a squad of Indomitus Terminators (given combi-bolters and with shaved-off aquilas). Still pumping out my Tacticals, though.

That is correct - thallax are 1 and castellax are 3.  I;ve added them to the points list.  My math comes to 85 points as well.
