Bs2+ Kasrkin?

Am i missing something, or can Kasrkin get 2+ ballistic skill, and then rapidfire weapons +1 attack ontop of that?

Yes they can

Base BS 3+

Leader orders Take Aim for +1 BS

Kasrkin self orders FRFSRF for +1 A

Yeap, one order from officer and second from themself. or two orders if with creed. and you can have 3+ save, +1 bs +1 attack on rapidfire

Ok, thought it sounded strong. Picked up the AM codex yesterday.

So as a general rule, going first rank second rank by default is better, because you get so many more shots that you will usually do more than if you went with take aim.

 

However, if you have a second order available, then you windmill-slam take aim on there too.

 

PS: Scions with an attached Command Squad holding a Command Rod can get the same.

 

The Combined Arms strat coordinated action also lets you dip into multiple orders. Bit more niche for Kasrki , as usually you don't need more than 2 orders to get max benefit for a specific task, but definitely has utility. And It's only for the one phase, not the usual order duration. But could be used to take aim one unit, frfsrf another and then double up on both for exampke. Or extend +1ld/+1oc from one unit to another at the start of the opps command phase to steal an objective.
