Some observations:

We lost Plasma, as expected tbh.

Tzaangors lost Battleline outside their own Detachment.

Our vehicles still don't have Invul saves.

Most of our Psychic Guns have been renamed (including the Infernal Master which makes the joke with his Psychic Gun being the only Hazardous one lose it's punchline).

All Non-Pistol Inferno Bolt Weapons have gone to AP-2, Warpflamers remain at AP-1.

The Icon of Fate granting Ignores Cover doesn't do so for attached characters (and still gives the Psychic Gun and Soulreaper it's benefits even if Warpflamers of all types no longer benefit).

SOTs Ability is now always -1 Wound (unless the Sorc explodes).

Aspiring Sorc and SOT Sorc now have +1 Wound and +1 Leadership over the rest of the unit.

Ahriman is now always a Mounted unit and cannot be on foot.

Any disc character can now lead Tzaangors Enlightened (both types).

Rubricae is a Tag now (useful for potential future Rubric-like units).

Despite having Psychic Guns, Horrors still don't have the Psychic keyword.

 

All in all, looks pretty nice.

Those Spanish MFM points look reasonable (assuming they're accurate).

Looks like despite all the doom and gloom leading up to it we actually have a decent Codex.

The rumor on hellfyre racks getting blast was false.
Didn't see any notable changes to any of the daemons. 
Unfortunate the heavy warpflamer on the new bots has the same profile as a SoT heaby warpflamer...despite looking very different. 
D.princes essentially get an extra ranged weapon. 

First glance stuff, need to sit and ponder for a bit.

Some more observations:

- Defilers get 6+++
- Hades Autocannons AP-2

- T. Enlightened now a 5++, Spears lost 1AP but gained 1D. Bows gained 1AP and Ignores Cover.
- Tzaangors lost 1 OC and 1AP on Blades (essentially killing them compared to Chainswords), but gained Scouts 6" and the new +1 OC/Ld Herd Banner mitigates the loss of Battleline and OC somewhat.
- Cultists are gone.
- Mutalith lost 1D but gained +1S on it's Claws (but D4 was weird to begin with tbh.)

All in all, quite happy with this. Time to bring my TS out from the shelf.

- Rhinos lost firing decks. Intentional or a mistake?

- Most Sorcerers got small buffs to their psychic powers but remained mostly unchanged to their index version.  Most got a massive price reduction from Ahriman with -50 points to sorcerers with -30 points which is great.

Man, 1K Sons Ectoplasma Forgefiends are going to be crazy, with 3D3 (blast) shots at S10 AP-3 Dmg3, easy access to rerolls of 1s to Hit ("Destiny's Ruin" Ritual) and to reroll a hit and a wound per turn (Warpforged Cabal detachment rule), and the ability to get +1 to wound from a 1 CP strat (Ensorcelled Infusion) -- infantry, hordes, vehicles/monsters are all going to get torn up by that kind of shooting!

I am less positive about it at this time. Not a lot of internal synergy without jumping through hoops/hoping for the right dice roll.

 

A lack of thematic elements, they just followed a detachment template.

 

Maybe my expectations were too high after the Death Guard codex, where it all works, is thematic and interesting.
