Inquisitor_Lensoven
I cannot wait to play as the first stormcast eternal in the 41st millennium. 20 hours ago, mecanojavi99 said: Also, since the preview post has been closed I will answer a comment that irked me in it. A fellow brother called the design of the inquisitor lazy and compared it to a stormcast. That's Anton Zerbe, your Lord Inquisitor boss from the OG Dark Heresy RPG and that's how he is supposed to look, he was an stormcast eternal before GW even thought about killing Fantasy. Great just means that GW has been lazy about designing things for a very long time. lazy is lazy. darkdark25, RolandTHTG, MechaMan and 7 others 10 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385954-owlcats-dark-heresy-crpg/page/2/#findComment-6111691 Share on other sites
MechaMan
I remember when people were saying stormcast looked too much like sanguinary guard, and they looked too much like Balthasar Gelt, or was it the other way around?… Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385954-owlcats-dark-heresy-crpg/page/2/#findComment-6111722 Share on other sites

It lacks creativity or originality. balthasar gelt, proto-Tycho, Tycho, Dante, SG, stormcasts, new not-Tycho captain, and apparently this inquisitor somewhere in there too. That’s a lot of recycling the same character design idea over the course of 40 years. "Mask formed in the image of a beautiful face" is far from exclusive to 40k. I think you are nitpicking. Plus, while some GW staff worked on the DH ttrpg, those that did were mostly writers afaik. FFG's illustrators, or a freelance illustrator that FFG hired, were probably the ones that designed Lord Inquisitor Zerbe in the first place. Human face mask, always gold, almost always having some sort sunburst style protrusions coming out of it… SvenIronhand, Dalmyth and sairence 3 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385954-owlcats-dark-heresy-crpg/page/2/#findComment-6112343 Share on other sites
sitnam
I always liked Dark Heresy as a setting, and since it was on sale I decided to give Rogue Trader a try, despite not being able to get into Owlcats previous Pathfinder games. Glad I did, it's a solid RPG and I'm looking forward to DH Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385954-owlcats-dark-heresy-crpg/page/2/#findComment-6112483 Share on other sites
