The new Dark Heresy collectors edition will come with a new novella by ADB about Night Lords. I think it probably won't be about first claw.

I'd love to read it, but 300 quid is too much to pay, and I don't have much interest in the other stuff.

First Claw, Shmirst Claw. Give us more Sevatar, you hack fraud!

wechat i find it curious that you constantly whine and moan about 'bad oc' like basilio fo, yet you simp outrageously for spaceship-surfing, curze-annoying, wall-spitting, fake-surrendering notorious nogoodnik sevatar (what happened to him, anyway? he's not with corswain, he's not with the lion, where the heck did he go)?????

s-silence!

I absolutely cannot understate my giddiness - or my honest, utter confusion - at seeing Dark Heresy back in black, as it were. What a wonderful setting to get the video game format, and what a great way to introduce newcomers to one of the best parts of 40K. Haarlock's legacy runs long, it seems, and I couldn't be happier.

Printed Novella is the keyword here. I'm guessing the ebook is gonna be released at the same time or at some point later.

I won't rant about this. I won't rant about this. I won't rant about this. I won't rant about this. I won't rant about this. I won't rant about this. I won't rant about this. I won't rant about this. I won't rant about this.

ok. I will in small text. Upfront it's good to see something from ADB. But the fact that it's a novella locked behind a $300 special edition game, and not the conclusion to the trilogy that had it's last entry 8 years ago, the followup to Spears that released 6 years ago, etc, is kind of upsetting. Maybe I just need my morning caffeine. Maybe I'm still bitter because the best trailer of the show yesterday was for a mobile game. I dunno

I'm guessing that the night Lords in this are unrelated to his other work, or minors characters at best. It's a big universe with a lot of Night Lords! This will probably be what rhey were doing in the lead up to the game. That's a pretty good sign about the richness of the game if it is true.

I dont think its meant to be a trilogy. I recall ADB saying on facebook that the Black Legion series was going to be 16 ot 17 books long.  Like a LOOOONG series. Not a trilogy. He'd plans for each black crusade. Look at the amount of progress the legion has made by the end of book 2- they've just left the eye for the first time. That doesnt look like it'll be wrapped up in just one book.

But at the current rate of progress we'll probably reach actual 40k before we get book 17.

Still I dont want to be one of those people harping on, like Game of Thrones fans. ADB has a lot on his mind and he is working on some goodies for us. I just wish I know more what they are like in ye olden days of 2016

I honestly thought ADB had retired. He hasn't produced anything that I know of in years. We never got a Decimus series, more Black Legion, more of the random loyalist chapter cut off from the Rift that was just one book, etc. I'm not paying that kind of money for a novella but I am glad he is still active.
