After considerable thought and some consultation, I have decided that The Sanguinor will only be worth 5 points, not 10, as he simply isn't large or detailed enough to be included in the 10 point category with the other centerpiece models.  I have therefore changed the points totals of the vows made that included him.

 

My apologies for my inconsistency on this.

 

In the interests of fairness, anyone who has already vowed The Sanguinor has the option to remove him from their vow - please let me know here or by message if this is the case.  This seems to be just @greatcrusade08 & @Jolemai - I had in my head that it was more of you.

The statue is the Scribor Sanguinis model, which I priced at 5 points, and the rest of the terrain which given the size, I priced at a further 5 points in accordance with a single Munitorum Container and the extras (pillar, detail, and so on.) Fwiw, Grotsmasha did agree with this suggestion...

Which building are you referring to, the crate like one on the top or the landing pad type one on the bottom?  Or both?

 

I'll put you under Astartes, then, as we don't have a White Scars subforum.  Basically, though, you can choose whichever subfaction you most want to support, it doesn't have to match your models.

Unfortunately, its not logistically feasible to split subfaction support between vows - all your vows go to the same subfaction.  That said, the only purpose subfaction choice serves in Call to Arms is for bragging rights for the subfactions that contributed most (both in terms of points and % completion) to each stronghold.  So if your vowed models don't speak to one subfaction over another, just chose the one you would most like to win the bragging rights.

I don't think we can divide sanguinus the statue from the plinth - together they form one terrain piece, which I think is on par with the other 5 point terrain pieces.  So, your vow is 10 points with the chaplain.

I'm okay with them for this year - I'll think about how to address zenithal priming in the future.

Note:

The Captain, Techmarine and Standard Bearer all are characters in 2nd 40K which means I allocated 5 points to each model. However this may not apply to the rules of this event so moderators might alter the points value presented above.

Update 1:

I've basecoated with Russ grey, did some small shades with the fang and then corrected with the first tone with my airbrush. Then did a pinwash of drakenhoff nightshade.

But it felt like such a chore to paint an all minis at the same time that i guess i'll go back to my usual 1 mini at a time.

Some of those unresolved issues:

 

@Focslain, you haven't clarified whether the DoW terrain piece is the container looking bit, the landing pad looking bit, or both.  Please advise.

 

@jaxom, you didn't give a subfaction, so I've put them in general Astartes.  As well, you can only enter one model for Master of the Forge vow - please chose which want you want to enter and let me know.

 

@Deus_Ex_Machina, you also didn't indicate a subfaction, so I've put yours in general Astartes as well.

I couldn’t choose between the two Angels of Death; I’m okay with general Astartes 

 

Please consider the Judiciar for Master of the Forge.

Update number 2:

I started with the grey hunter squad. Now i'm highlighting each colour but i don't know how to paint the squad markings. If just a triangle or more like a maw.

Other than that i've had nice progress :)
