I really like the weathering on the off-white part of the engine shroud

 

The glow from the light/screen on the bench is rather nice, too.

Pretty stoked for these big ol' cannon bois. They are right on the edge of unreasonable AKA perfect for 40k!

 

I found out just after my last Vow that there's an event at the end of August I want to bring Storm Lords to, and I couldn't resist the opportunity to clear out the last 5 marines from Leviathan and get my OG 8th launch squad of 5 with Lt to a solid 10.

@Boc Those Primaris tanks look great! I think the color palette really helps the sculpts come off as more serious, whereas the boxart Ultramarines blue they look like toys

I'm busy over the weekend so here's an early Sunday update:

 

 

Honestly much happier with them as hellblasters than stock Infernus. I'd forgotten how quick Primaris paint up through sheer chonk and lack of 'weird' textures. Might still fiddle with them a few hours next week but I'm advancing to my Imperium vow pretty soon. Likely a couple weeks before they're based... So I'll post in here again when they're done!
