I, Dr. Clock, heed the Call to Arms and pledge to paint 5 Hellblasters for 5pts for the Glory of the Storm Lords and the Astartes Stronghold on or before 15th September 2025, or bear the badge of failure until year's end.

What if we made the part that's dangerous to the operator further away from the operator?

Pretty stoked for these big ol' cannon bois. They are right on the edge of unreasonable AKA perfect for 40k!

I found out just after my last Vow that there's an event at the end of August I want to bring Storm Lords to, and I couldn't resist the opportunity to clear out the last 5 marines from Leviathan and get my OG 8th launch squad of 5 with Lt to a solid 10.

Cheers,

The Good Doctor.

I'm busy over the weekend so here's an early Sunday update:

Honestly much happier with them as hellblasters than stock Infernus. I'd forgotten how quick Primaris paint up through sheer chonk and lack of 'weird' textures. Might still fiddle with them a few hours next week but I'm advancing to my Imperium vow pretty soon. Likely a couple weeks before they're based... So I'll post in here again when they're done!

Cheers,

The Good Doctor.

I, Brother Christopher, heed the Call to Arms and pledge to paint 6 jump pack marines and 1 Marshal in Terminator Armour, for 15 pts for the Glory of the Black Templars and the Astartes Stronghold on or before September 15th, or bear the badge of failure until year's end.

@Dr. Clock I love the conversion you did. That's a very cool modification and a striking paint scheme.

Reporting Page updated - please review to ensure your entry is correct (subfaction, link, models vowed, point value, entry into Master of the Forge).

@Brother Christopher - 6x jump marines (6) and marshall in terminator armour (5) is 11 points, not 15, so I have you down for that.  Nice to see you join.

I'm glad to be able to join! And I'm sorry for the mistake - I don't know where that came from - maybe a typo on the numpad or just being in the middle of work. Regardless, I feel ashamed for this silly mistake. Thanks for catching this.

No problem - its the reason I double check all vow point totals.  You certainly aren't the first to make a small mistake in the math.

I'M HERE FOR THE BLOOD AND GUTS NOT THE MATHS

After blazing through my first vow, my second is taking a bit more time. Mostly due to the extra detail on the models. I can't decide whether they are Veteran Heavy Intercessors or Heavy Sternguard. :ermm: Either way, the first squad member is just about done so I figured now was a good time for a progress update.

-  STATE OF THE EVENT -

WE ARE NOW 1/2 WAY DONE (as of August 1)

Half way into the event, and its time for some more stats!  Since the 2 week mark, we have 9 new participants (total of 69) and are up 25 vows (to 96), and have inceased our vowed points by 660.5 (to 3,752).  We are also doubled our Master of the Forge entries (to 10) and still have no Young Bloods.  If you think I have missed anything or anyone, please let me know here or by message.

Leading stronghold in vowed points is still heresy at 1270 (which is up 103 pnts).  They also still have to 2 highest strongest subfactions in terms of vowed points - For the Emperor at 709 (up 93) and For the Warmaster at 582 (up 10).

Although its still anybody's game (such that it isn't particularly meaningful at this point), the Imperium still has the highest completion rate of 32.06% of pledged points completed, though Xenos is close on its heels at 31.56%.  The other 3 are far behind at 15.83% (Astartes), 7.01% (Chaos) and Heresy in the rear with 4.96%).  In terms of raw points of completed vows (rather than %), Xenos is in the lead with 287, followed by Astartes at 103 and the rest still in the double digit - 67 for Imperium, 63 for Heresy and Chaos at the tail with 50.

Deathwatch in the Imperium forum is still the only subforum with a 100% completion rate.

@Antarius still has the most completed points, having completed 3 vows in two strongholds worth 174 pnts (up 61 points and 1 vow from the 2 week point).  In terms of vote diverstity, however, @Dr. Clock is in the lead, with vows in 4 of the 5 Strongholds - the next closest are the 10 members with vows in 2 strongholds.  Highest total vows is still @SgtSharp, with his massive vow of 419 for the Emperor in the Heresy forum, followed by, in the same stronghold, by 365 for the Warmaster from @GodEmperorOfMankind.

All the subfactions have persons vowing their models to them, except Genestealer Cultists, Adepta Sorroritas, Adeptus Mechanicus and Imperial Knights.

Is great to see all the fantastic models being painted, and I look forward to seeing what all comes out by my next update a month from now!

Sunday update 2: Vow Complete

@Dr_Ruminahui I didn't realize Master of the Forge competition could include units. I'd submit these since they're the only conversion I'm doing this year and I do like how they ended up.

Sounds great.  I'll amend your vow when I do my weekly update.
