Hey guys

I am a real Alpha Legion fan... or was... as you know, everything the Alpha Legion is dubious.

Naaa, I am kidding, I am a really Alpha Legion fan... or was I(?!)

Because I just have come to an conclusion that the Alpha Legion was a collision of different commanders who were lacking a leader - Alpharius.

If anything Alpharius is absent from most of the command structure as I know it.

Why, I am asking, is Alpharius such a jerk? Why did he not lead his legion or was a public face on the board of Primarchs? I mean seriously; I have read Alpharius - Head of the Hydra - and I am rather disappointed. If anything I can figure out what he is highlighting about himself. What is his best qualities? What kind of leader is/was he? Was he ever, really in charge of his legion, or did the rest of the high command just gave a nod and lead on their own without him? Did he ever participating in any military briefings?

What kind of leader was he?

Or was he a little assassin who alway believe he was smarter than the rest of the combined legion and Imperium?

Is he a psychopath?

Is Omegon his introverted, jugmentaled side while Alpharius is the extravert, prosspecting side of him? (like I can be an outgoing and shy person at the same time)

Seriously what do you think?

I sense, the Lion has the same problem...

I'm like; Alpharius is and always was afraid of his own shadow; yet he is also very proud of his achievements despite them being of dubious value. And when speaking of value, What does Alpharius value?(??) Now really, what does he value?

I think Alpharius value privacy. perhaps also a sense of unity; belonging and being part of a community. In the sence that all human need a community.

I can in some way find him sympathetic in a 40k world, but it is like; he lies to his ordinance. He lie to himself.

Much of what Games Workshop has publicised tells me, that he is a very rational person, yet he somehow have to differ from being private to being public. Kind of like  Batman and Bruce Wayne are two side of the same coin.
