Here's a very humble wish for a product I want: Heresy combi-weapons. A pack like the special weapons or disintegrators. Put a couple of different patterns in there and maybe a few arms for fancy poses.

good thing we just got some combi-disintegrators

My manifestation is the kill team season in 2026 - Catachans vs Exodies. Beta Decima terrain set is replaced with Jungle Ruins Eldar terrain keeping the verticality/obscurity of BD but adding more light/scatter cover. I'd also love for them to expand on the narrative missions they've been putting out to include the rules for a planetary campaign, where wins/losses impact future matches, but without the Spec-Ops RPG/Stat stuff from last edition.

I could totally go for Catachans vs. Exodites. I want Eldar Terrain, and Jungle Ruins Eldar would be better than non-Eldar terrain, but if we're wish listing, I'd like one (mostly?) intact, functional piece of Eldar terrain mixed in with a bunch of Jungle/ Ruins.

And while I'm all for them creating a planetary campaign that has the option of not using Spec/ops rules, I'd also like them to bring back optional Spec Op rules for use both with and without the campaign. Spec-Ops, by which I specifically mean the progression system, the background information and home base asset system as opposed to the actual spec-op mission cards, was my favourite part of KT21.

Every time I got a new book, the first things I would look at were the home base assets, requisitions and the background pages with all the unit quirks and motivations. They were great little tools for fleshing out the infrastructure that existed within the theatre of war to support your kill team's operations. Allowing bespoke skills for the operatives in a KT was a great way to build a narrative, because the model didn't just have static traits; there were abilities that they could grow into.

I think a lot was lost when GW jettisoned the progression system. It was one of those hits that sticks with you; you keep playing, because it's still fun enough, but you never really forget. Ignoring Sisters for five editions and outright cancelling GSC for six and squats for seven... Those types of errors. GW finally did right by those maligned factions, and I think that one day progression probably will return to KT... And it might not be as good as what we had in KT21, but it could also end up being even better. And to be fair to KT24, the PVE/ CO-OP mode IS a nice addition, and I hope they retain/ expand it.

Despite my personal preferences, however, I do understand YOUR desire to be able to separate campaign material from the progression system, and I think it's just good design to facilitate that flexibility.

Oooh, that's a good shout. Those old Eldar models have aged really nicely as sculpts (even if they don't match the newer aesthetics), would be cool to see the look return.

If we're talking KT, I'd be interested in Red Corsairs with a mix of Chaos Marines and mortal space pirate followers.
