Inquisitor_Lensoven
Hey I’m starting on my frost phoenix army, and I’m looking for advice on how to do a gradual icy/frosty look from a white to a white/blue to light blue, and maybe on to a darker blue. Inquisitor_Lensoven
The army painter flat white primer seems to dry in a fairly dusty way. Is this normal, or did I get a bad can? There's a couple of things that can cause this, but basically the paint is partially drying in the air before hitting the model. Best practice it to warm the can in warm water for ¬2mins, then shake the ever living crap of of the can for 1-2mins, flipping the can a couple of times while doing so. Then when spraying, try to avoid doing so in direct sunlight. Grotsmasha
I'd still recommend warming the can, and a super solid shake. Then spray a piece of sprue to ensure the paint is good before proceeding with more models.
