...And we are done with the obliterator! I guess having painted already one previously, helps when identifying parts on it. It went faster than I thought. Now, on to the 13 CSM and the daemon prince!

I'm almost at the finish line myself, I got the last two possessed done earlier this week!

but then I went back and checked my vow and i forgot i had also included a terminator sorcerer . So I've been working on that since then. Here's my progress on him, hoping to wrap him up this weekend.

using the event to kickstart off my new word bearers army, goal is to get another army that can get dual use in 30k and 40k after my Dusk Raiders drifted away from that ideal by a bit. There was supposed to be a helbrute in the Vow as well but we started a crusade and I needed it in my initial roster so it got painted early 

Vow completed! As things tend to turn out, sorcerer's base and assorted bits and bobs took more time than I'd hoped but less than I expected.

As you can see, some of this stuff is still being assembled, some of it has been painted by the previous owner and some of it are my own conversions (the Daemon Prince and one of the Heralds are some old concoctions of a friend of mine and myself, when we were doing a big Realm of Chaos project some years ago. The herald was originally supposed to be a Nurgle-possessed Mechanicum character, so I figured a Herald was the best approximation).

Everything currently painted will be reprimed, but I decided stripping the flies would be too big of a hassle, as the figures are quite big and with lots of things that might snap off, so I'm hoping I can get an ok result by just priming black on top of the current paint job (the bases you can see in the pictures will be completely painted over by hand, in case I decide not to spray them to preserve the tufts).

I was slightly unsure whether to count the big homebrewed guy as a Daemon Prince or as a Greater Daemon (he was originally conceived as a GUO as he was made before the current plastic kit came out), as he is larger than a Daemon Prince, but smaller than a regular GUO, so I went with the lesser option.

@Antarius Appreciate it, a lot of my Chaos inspiration comes from the old 3rd edition Witch Hunters codex (my first 40k publication i ever read), which had a great section  for your opponents to add some traitors and mutants to their armies, with some great art.

 

I don't know how much smaller your GuO proxy is, but he just feels like a GuO to me. Although I'm also a big fan of him as a Daemon Prince
