I guess this is a multi-part question:

1. Will GW update and in the future release new slightly larger new model versions of the Chaos Rhino, Chaos Predator, and Chaos Vindicator? It vigor me thinking because those vehicles are core to a chaos space marine armory.

So that led me to consider will they also do the same for the space marine range? Which would almost certainly mean primaris can now be transported in it.

Personally I REALLY hope they do! Why? Because I like them better than the Impulsor and gladiator line of tanks. There are no new vindicator replacements unless you want to count the laser destroyer on the gladiator lancer and repulser executioner? And with its reduced shots, I don't think it fills the Vindicator role.  I would love to see new versions of each of those classic vehicles also for space marines if they release new versions for CSM?

Any thoughts on the likelihood? Because I just can't imagine them re-doing them with new models but only for CSM and not also for SM.  And yeah I wish my primaris marines in Tacticus could go in the Rhino and Razorback.

My personal theory since Shadowspear has been GW will eventually redo Rhinos and Predators but only for Chaos. The base kit will be straight up Chaos vehicle matching the modern Chaos tech aesthetic. Upgrade sprues to make cult versions. Vindicator will be removed from service and replaced entirely by Defiler, with an updated Defiler model.

The Land Raider is in dire need of a new model IMO, as it barely fits together, has a tonne of moldlines and oh god the cognitohazard that is the interior... but I actually feel the Rhino chassis is fine as is. Not perfect for certain but they do everything they need to and considering the base Rhino kit is over 20 years old at this point it actually holds up really, really well. They could make it bigger but given a true-scale Rhino would be obnoxiously large I'd honestly rather they kept it the same size. I suppose if we were getting a refreshed Rhino/Razorback kit they could add some more weapons for the Razorback (assault cannons in the box, multi-melta and las-plas making their triumphant return) and more stowage/extras for the kit would be nice, things like extra armour, grab rails etc.

I don't think the Rhino chassis vehicles have a place in a modern Astartes army as they have been throughly replaced by the Gladiators and Impulsor.

I admit the Impulsor is strictly more similar to a Razorback and would welcome another variant with a greater transport capacity. There isn't a new analogue to the Vindicator at this time.

I feel the Landraiders and Repulsors are too similar. The Landraider is really iconic and if anything, I would like to see it updated as an even bigger and more imposing model. It should, imo, fill a similar role to what the Spartan does in 30k - significant firepower and prodigious transport capacity. It should be to a Repulsor what the Repulsor is to an Impulsor.

It's a big galaxy split in two with overstretched supply lines, there is absolutely a place for tracked and Mars pattern vehicles in the modern Astartes army. They don't even need to make them any bigger, just make them a bit better to build like the Sororitas Rhino and the Deimos vehicles. Most of the bulk of the Impulsor in comparison to the Rhino comes from it having to house those huge engines on the side.

We can have dozens of models that all do the same thing, but duplication and redundancy are not a positive. I feel that instead of taking up more shelf space and bloating the most bloated range in the game even more, GW should be focusing on spreading the releases and support more evenly across all the factions (I know this will never happen to a great extent but it could be better than it is currently).

A Razorback and an Impulsor serve identical roles in the game, except in truth the Razorback is now redundant. Could GW keep selling both? Sure they could, but it's not what's best for balance or for players. I understand people may well prefer one over the other from a visual aspect - but again, I support any good conversions that are put forward.

The Impulsor replaces the Razorback and the Gladiator replaces the Predator but that still leaves the Vindicator, Whirlwind and the humble Rhino itself without proper replacements. The Rhino is at risk of being made obsolete by the lack of Firstborn infantry to ride in it (just the Tactical and Devastator squads now I think). The Repulsor is too expensive to function as a dedicated APC and occupies an awkward halfway house between the Rhino and Land Raider with neither the cheapness of the former nor the firepower of the latter.

30K has new Rhinos, Predators and Vindicators. I almost wonder whether it would be easier for GW to produce a chaos corruption sprue for those and release them as the new 40K models in 11th edition. Except that seems to go against GW's apparent desire to keep the 30K and 40K model ranges separate.
