I started painting last year but I’ve stopped for a while. I want to get back into painting with Summer break coming up and wanted some tips on how to make my BT look like true crusading marines. 
 

I’ve also never played a real game so table top help would also be appreciated

Anyway he is a small tutorial on how i do my armor

 

Step 1: Black undercoat

Step 2: Airbrush a midgrey as a zenithal from the top.

Step 3: Drybrush a lighter grey on top focusing on the edges.

Step 4: Allover wash of black(preferably one that stains a bit to darken the greys)

Step 5: Paint the shoulders an off wihite

Step 6: Sponge on some silver all over the armor and focus on the spots that will most likely get som damage
