If you put a priest with SGV, I think a Lt would also be helpful. 
 

Yes, I know that Lh is a little anti synergistic, but the free fall-back-and-shoot/charge seems extremely useful on a unit that always wants to be doing both.

You are right. I always think of a Captain but the Lt is really good for us in LAG and the priest does help give the Sternguard a bit of bite in melee. Plus you can potentially stack two Enhancements although I am not sure if it is useful in this case.
