they said they had plenty so not to worry if they ran out on the shelf

Managed to snag mine, plus get Lords of the Silence on pre-order. Sounds like our local got eighty as opposed to forty.

Just cracked the box, if you're looking to make Centos chapter& specific with a moulded pad, it's a very easy cut

My store had 28 available, only 5 of us in initial queue, so not a problem, but soon picked up as it was Armies on Parade day.  Ordered Lords of Silence to be sure I got a copy.

Also ended up with a spare Centos as when leaving the store someone had buyers remorse!

Off back to store later this morning to do some AoP judging.

 

Be interesting to see what the supply actually is after this morning?

One of my friend went to the store and all the stock was already "preordered" through facebook store page days before. 

I, of course, didn't know that since is not anymore the city I live in but I find the practise quite awful.

I don't even know if you can do something like it.

The guy at the store said to leave my number, in case they will restock the mini but I think it's more probable to see flying pigs before something like that occurs.

 

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Got my Centos. There were 4 left at time of me collecting mine, and a queue behind me waiting to collect.

Kings Lynn store had 8 left and hour ago but someone was on the phone asking them to put 2 aside for them/eBay.

I’ve just spoken to my local store in uk and they have loads left. I’m definitely going to get one after work.

The scalping is insane. Actually worse prices than some of the FW and GW event miniatures I bought in the past off Ebay. 100 USD is absurd for a single miniature. I had zero chance of getting one as there are no GW stores in my country.

Yeah, same. It's five hours to one direction for me. I really like this model, it has quite unique blend of old school and primaris, and I am a rather sad that I cannot get it. I really do not like this sort limited release scheme, especially as it affects different regions drastically disproportionately.

Managed to snag mine but glad I was there before opening cuz there were a ton of people. Having to wait awhile to get my Execrator preorder. Lot of people just here to play games who didn’t know about Centos though which surprised me (both the numbers and the not knowing).

 

Edit: Only one out of 30 left after 25 minutes. Found a 2025-2026 mission deck and snagged that while I waited so definitely worth it.

My manager, only allowed one per person and no going back to the end of the queue for seconds.  I promised to be early to ensure I got one and was first in the queue.  From what I could gather when chatting after judging AoP any reservations via Facebook, phone or emails etc. Shouldn't have happened?

Such poor form from the store and the person in front of you!

 

Hopefully GW realise there’s money to be made here and release them in another way!

Yeah, there's a lot of "you need to report this to GW" here. Stores were explicitly told it's one-per-customer, and not to take pre-bookings.
