This is some kind of idiocy.. it's just too much buff

I disagree and agree at the same time.  I think his rules are just right.  I think his points are way too low now.  He seems like around a 400  point model now based on his rules.  I mean, Deathwing Knights with a Captain with Lion tagging along are going to be insane.  The fact they left him at 315 seems an oversight to me.  You could take said captain, Deathwing Knights and LEJ for 660 points.  For an extra 25, one captain gets a S10 AP-3 fist.  Seems a bit light.  Reminiscent of older edition death stars.

Now, I don't play the game so I don't want to pretend to really know what I'm talking about, but to the untrained eye he seems like he's gonna be an issue in competitive at 315 points.  I do like the fact that he now seems to be represented in the game like he is in the lore.

GW has struggled to represent the Primarchs on the tabletop with the oscillating between being beatsticks and force multipliers (or both). Part of the problem is trying to have them live up to their lore without being impossible to fight against.

Ironically I play Blood Angels and Space Wolves, one of which won't be getting their space daddy back and the other who won't be getting him anytime soon. While I miss having such an imposing centrepiece to paint, at least I don't have to worry about the rollercoaster of updates as GW try to find a sweet-spot to balance these legendary characters.
