I find scions to be too expensive but want an alpha strike unit.

 

I like the ogryns. Their ripper guns function like short-range heavy bolters. So it's the same points as two heavy weapons teams. Inside half range, they hit like double the amount of heavy bolters. It's a dual-use squad to counter assaults and toss lots of lead out.

 

Bullgryns are new. Never used them before.

 

The inquisition units are there to hold point. They would stay in their vehicles most of the time.

Looking to put in something more points-efficient than the scion blob.

 

10 foot-slogging kasrkin (using scout move carefully) and 10 Aquilons is less points, more flexibility, and I get a closer deep strike option. Saves about 15 points overall.
