Just wanted to say hello from Oregon. I’m a long time table top RPG guy, but I’ve recently gotten into 40K skirmish games, Kill Team and Necromunda.

I supposed it was time to finally make an account and stop lurking.

Happy to be here.

Welcome to the B&C, @ggergnayr

which gangs and kill teams do you play?

Thank you! In Kill Team, Tempestus Aquilons, and in Necromunda Delaque.
I’ve got an unpainted/half painted pile with Stingwings, Van Saar TekHunters, and Brood Bros all waiting for me though.

I didn’t understand how quickly the grey plastic pile could grow until all of the sudden it was huge and unpainted.

Grey plastic pile is like mold.

One day it's a tiny spot there, the next you are grasping for breath, while the unstoppable wave of plastic is crashing against your hobby room and your family is trying to call your name but all that you hear is "that new kit is pretty cool, buy it!"..

Oh yes, Welcome @ggergnayr to B+C, you gonna love it!

Welcome!

I'm in the reverse situation - got my Stingwings painted but the Aquilons are languishing on the sprue!

If you like a bit more narrative in your Kill Team, the Once Upon A Kill Team podcast has some great ideas and resources.

It doesn’t help that my son (7) is getting into it with me, so we go pick up free minis every month, and he’s always proposing on what else we should buy.

Dope! I’ll listen to it.
The Vespids really do seem a lot simpler than how I painted my Aquilons, so when I get there it should move quickly but the queue was jumped a few times hahaha.
