sairence
The Marauder Bomber/Destroyer model is a monster. The wing span make it as wide as it is long. sairence
It is significantly larger. Can measure the beauty at a later point if you like. If there's anything larger than it, it would be another FW superheavy. But I honestly doubt it. Inso
Back in the day, didn't White Dwarf have rules for a Leviathan? I accept that the model would have to be scratch-built but there are Leviathans out there... and they are BIG... Here's one I found on the WWW (it includes the rules): LameBeard and Emperor Ming 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386152-imperium-guard-largest-model-ever/#findComment-6117452 Share on other sites

But that model hardly resemble leviathan from books as from HH and Gaunt series. I wanna build something big even if its a scratch build. and now loocking and analyzing what IG have. Now I intently looking on IG dropships from novels. There is a variety of it's variants from relatively small like holding few tens of guardsmen to holding tank/supper heavy company. There is also monstrouse things like devourer but if I calculate "miniature" size correctly in 40k scale mu house can fit into it's belly. SteveAntilles
The Crassus is Macharius sized, smaller than a Baneblade. The Leviathan, while cool, isn't an official model either. If we're going by old epic stuff though, the Capital Imperialis is the biggest. kabaakaba 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386152-imperium-guard-largest-model-ever/#findComment-6117462 Share on other sites

But that Leviathan model seems related to the old Epic Capitol Imperialis? And maybe that’s what’s being described in the Gaunt novel? http://www.solegends.com/citcat1991a/cat1991ap125epiccapitalimp-02.htm Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386152-imperium-guard-largest-model-ever/#findComment-6117495 Share on other sites
kabaakaba Posted yesterday at 07:14 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 07:14 AM (edited) the HH about pure comander who was with raven guard (forgot name again) in betta harmon i think and Gaunts book Armour of Contempt describe same machine it's capitol imperialis and leviathan is just a pattern of it. in books it's described a way bigger compare to how it looks as model. well, or it's my imagination make it bigger. but im absolutely sure there is at least 3 valkyrie can land on it simulteneous. gonna recheck it. added: i'm become lazy and ask AI so its say (values is averaged cause its give a large swing like length 500-1500 meters) Height 100-150 m width around 500 m length around 1000m Edited yesterday at 08:11 AM by kabaakaba Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386152-imperium-guard-largest-model-ever/#findComment-6117501 Share on other sites

Leviathan could go inside the big brother. Not sure what that would be like in 28mm scale. You could have a decent game of 40k set inside one I suspect.
