Having been recently focused solely on the actual hobby aspect of the hobby, I've forgotten how shoddy GW can be with their releases, updates and sale strategies, as well as some other things that I've apparently buried deep and/or forgotten about. On their own, these have always been cool models. But it's quite impossible now not to compare them with the other updated ranges. It’s swapped a generic Terminator Librarian for Crowe and a Dreadknight for a Ven. Dreadnaught and 5 extra Strike Marines. We knew the GK’s weren’t being rescaled this edition, so I’m not sure why everyone’s surprised/appalled; it’s not a range clearance, this is just the range. That and they dont do range clearances like that either. The sprues here are freshly printed instead of being repacked. I guess the old box which included a Dreadknight instead of a Dreadnought was perceived a better deal. Which I’m inclined to agree; at least until we see the rules. If Dreadnoughts get a similar refresh to the chaos ones, I could see the box being rehabilitated.
