orgelf
Hi everyone, This is my first post here, and I’m excited to finally join the Bolter & Chainsword community. I’m a 3D artist and will be sharing a series of artworks this summer, all centered around the Warhammer 40K universe — a mix of fan tribute and creative reinterpretation. Here’s the first piece: a Harlequin Eldar standing atop the skull of a Tyranid from Hive Fleet Hydra. He’s accompanied by his loyal gyrinx, and surrounded by floating holographic flowers meant to distract enemies in combat. His lyre is also a weapon, and the blades hovering around him can be launched or used in close quarters. He holds his pistol with casual mockery, symbolizing the Harlequin's theatrical defiance. The shoes, cat, and flowers are downloaded assets — everything else was modeled using ZBrush, Nomad, SketchUp, Blender, and Filter Forge. Feel free to check out more of my work here: orgelf.com Looking forward to your feedback, and to exploring all the inspiring creations on this forum! More to come soon. orgelf Posted yesterday at 05:16 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 05:16 AM (edited) Before I post my next Warhammer project, I wanted to share an older piece I made about two years ago. At the time, I knew almost nothing about the Warhammer 40,000 universe. A friend had told me just a few basic things—there was an intergalactic Emperor, many different factions and species, etc. That was enough to spark my curiosity. After seeing a few illustrations of the Emperor, I decided to model my own version, based purely on imagination and first impressions—no lore knowledge, just intuition and aesthetics. So here is my interpretation of the Emperor as I envisioned him back then. His sword is a pun based on two French words: épée (sword) and ailes (wings), which makes “Épailes.” His electronic laurel crown grants him psychic abilities—though of course, I’ve since learned that he’s already unimaginably powerful in that regard! Let me know what you think Bigger size here Edited 21 hours ago by orgelf duplicates pictures Firedrake Cordova, Dr_Ruminahui, OpossumStrong and 1 other 3 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386209-orgelfs-works-3d-fan-art/#findComment-6119320 Share on other sites
