Isn't C mostly for Chaos anyway?

The only time I've seen that on an Imperial unit was someone's kitbashed Sister of Battle Terminators.

I think it's probably gonna be type A.

Style W as it were, is the style I would prefer for power armored characters with lightning claws.

 

As we're talking terminator lightning claws, we've already seen what they will look like, courtesy of the Wolf Guard Terminators:

Great question! I'm a very old school guy so I would love to see a version of A, the wolverine claws thing that the original metals had. I never really liked the knuckle duster ones. I think the finger claws in C look amazing but feel they should be left for chaos.

Oh man I completely forgot about this guy despite him being such a recent release, you're probably right in that this is what we'll see. A bit of a shame as I like the little power thingies on the back of the glove A has but these leave some real estate for molded designs like this Space Wolf has or area to free hand like classic power fists.

I like this. of course, i prefer cataphractii style claws, but i think theres are a significant step up from the old blocky lightning claws.

im more curious personally how TH/SS will be modernized. im expecting the elongated cruciform BA shields, to be sure, but we will see the end result.

I actually really like those Lightning Claws, they remind me of the old-school metal ones.

For me the Space wold one is the worst of all world - it offers a superficial call back to the built into back of hand ones, but just looks tacked on and that they wouldn't survive actually hitting something without pulling off.

Random thing for Legions Imperialis:

 

The warlord with Volcano Cannons, as well as the weaponpacks have been out of stock for a while now, resin weapons permanently it seems. Maybe a new titan plastic weapon sprue, like we got for the warhounds? Helverins have been unavailable for a real long time as well, so a plastic box of those would sell like hotcakes I think.

More plastic releases for AT/LI would be very welcome. 

I for one would buy some plastic Helverins. The resin ones from FW are just too pricey (and fiddly but I doubt a switch to plastic will fix that issue).

If the new TH/SS Termies come with the same style shields as Bladguard Vets and the new Termie Chaplain I won't complain at all because I like those a lot too but I would really love them to retain the more squarish shape shields the current models have, I just think they're neat.

If we see the new Assault Terminators for 40k and new Cataphractii for HH then it's going to be a great show for me.

Agreed I also highly doubt they’ll look like that as the wolves got lots of different style weapons to make them more theme appropriate, I think they’ll be the A option as they like more standard “Imperial”

Yeah I'm not a fan of the knuckleduster claws either; I don't hate them in concept but in practice they're very...clunky. I seem to recall some of the metal power armour Veterans had them but they were much better proportioned.

Every BL reveal I hope will be the 3rd Black Legion book and I am always disappointed.
