Man it's been a long time, good ol' BnC.  My first painted models in the greater part of a decade and my first post in almost as long, here.  Mass Effect Cerberus inspired Tau certainly aren't an original idea on my part, but I wanted to take a stab at it.

Sorry for slightly lackluster picture quality, I don't have a lightbox or anything fancy anymore.  However, I'm pleasantly surprised to find that these days my phone is a better camera than the setup I used years ago.

So far just a breacher squad, I've the rest of the Combat Patrol to go through after this.

They look really nice - the subtle weathering/battle damage works very well

The photos are fine. If you're looking for a lightbox they're really easy to make, and can be made from printer paper.

Thanks much for the kind words and welcome all (and for the lightbox hack, Firedrake).  It's nice to be back.  I won't be as active as I used to be around here, but I'm sure to pop in time to time to share more little blue men or gush over the insane projects people around here produce!  It's great to see the BnC is still alive and well after all these years.

I was planning to do the Devilfish from the box set next, but after hours of sanding and filing and filling this ungodly ancient model only to have these gaps and uneven lines still staring at me with defiance, I decided to move on to the Pathfinders instead.  All pinned up and ready for priming, and should hopefully go faster now that I finally worked the kinks out of the formula.
