gorgeous mate. well done!

Thanks mate, appreciate the kind words!

I also went back and touched up my redemptor dread - was never satisfied with the plasma OSL and I think it's much better now

Very cool work on that cape Brother

Thanks mate! He's almost to the point where I can start gluing him back together - I'll get some progress pics once that happens

Saw your cloth picture pop up in the feed. Super impressive work dude.

Thanks mate!

Bit more progress to share, I've started on the silver NMM for all the trim. It's still pretty rough but most of the highlights are in the right spots now

That texture on the cape is awesome!

Thanks mate! Stole the idea from instagram, pretty fun way to paint cloth!

I've also been hard at work on all the NMM on The Lion, here is a pic of The Emperor's Shield with the gold all finished

Your cloth and NMM are amazing. I definitely steal this cloth stile for my pals. But... But you lenses and plasmas are insane, such a GLOW . Even on bright models they pop. could you share your recipe?

@kabaakaba thanks mate! The process is a bit lengthy but here goes:

Paint the source of light in pure white. Do as many layers as needed for solid coverage.

Spray area around light source with diluted white to create a faint halo (can also drybrush if you don't want to use an airbrush)

Spray light source and area around with diluted Doomfire Magenta contrast paint. Extend further than the white area to create a fade into surrounding colours.

Be careful with this step as it is a very strong colour so better to do a few more diluted layers. You can do this by glazing with brush if you prefer over airbrush.

Optionally brush diluted Druchii Violet shade around border of the magenta to create a darker purple fade to surrounding colours.

Paint light source with Fluo Magenta (vallejo).

Mix ice yellow into fluo magenta and highlight light source. Edge highlight nearby areas facing the light source as well.

Keep adding ice yellow to the mix in a few highlights layers to light source until you are using almost pure ice yellow.

Final highlight of light source by adding white to previous mix.

Hope that helps
