3K Kroot Apoc Game

Got talking with INKS today and realized I forgot to post about this. I was in the big Apoc game at Gamescon last month and brought 3k of all Kroot and was put across from a Blood Ravens player. It was basically Dawn of War Dark Crusade on the Tabletop. I also go to play next to Tau Nick from Play On which was really cool, he's a great guy. 

 

I got turn 1 and this photo was after my first movement phase, had not yet shot or charged. I've got more phots I'll try and post but the file sizes seem like they might be a touch too big. I took the Spartan down to 3 wounds just with shooting, and wiped out the 10 man squad on in the far right building, leaving the Librarian at 1 wound. He tried to push into the center with his Captain, LT, their squad, and the terminators in the Spartan, but by the end of round 2 they were dead, and by the end of round 4 he was tabled. 

He did drop some Devastaors in my backline with a Drop Pod that were some of the last things to die. They lived 5 rounds of combat with 20 carnivores, making a 23/23 3+ saves, followed by 18/21 3+'s Truly the Emperor was by their side that day, but eventually, even they fell to the Hunting Pack.

Here's a couple more. I won't be able to post too many since I hade to fiddle with the file sizes to get them to shrink enough to post. (The Ghost Marine is his Oath of Moment marker).
