TheMawr Posted yesterday at 11:22 AM Share Posted yesterday at 11:22 AM I hope Im doing this right. New rumor engine is here, and while the first thought is AoS ( same in the text ) there is some possible relevancehttps://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/cnoxaf3h/the-rumour-engine-29th-of-july/ Now a severed hand symbol ( as decoration or on the end of a staff, sword or spear ? ) is immediately remniscent of Morai-Heg. Whom has relevance in AoS as well. However DoK ( the faction it would be for ) dont use soulstone shaped gems. Thats actually more of an eldar thing. Meanwhile we have 1 Eldar release coming for sure between now and 12 months ( Drukhari codex.) but also 2 rumored things ( Aeldari corsairs for 40k and Exodites for Kill Team. ) As well as an Eldar faction steeped in Morai-Heg relevance... that definitely has ties with one of the rumored releases ( Prince Yriel ) and might have ties with more ( my own theory being that the Exodites kill team might be a misidentified ynnari or even croneworld kill team, its a tiny might and purely based on that I dont see GW removing exodites from the dinoriding aspect, and dont see dino riding units in kill team.) ( and again, I hope Im doing this right.. I rarely start posts ) skylerboodie, Magos Takatus, Doctor Perils and 2 others 5 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386375-rumour-engine-29-7-2025/ Share on other sites
ZeroWolf Posted yesterday at 12:24 PM Share Posted yesterday at 12:24 PM I think it is meant to be a staff head, judging by the bit above the gems. As for everything else? Unknown at this point. Would be nice if it was exodites mind. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386375-rumour-engine-29-7-2025/#findComment-6124951 Share on other sites

I cant find anywhere they use that kind of patterning. In general its mostly a chaos thing.. except for Slaanesh and Tzeentch where you would expect such gemstones and refined material. TheMawr Posted yesterday at 01:17 PM Author Share Posted yesterday at 01:17 PM btw I think its a (short) Sceptre or ceremonial mace hanging from a belt or something, not really a carried staff. It seems to be part of the same plastic bit as the fur, wich would make it a fur skirt.. all in all, less and less likely to be 40k the longer I look at it. Maybe not even AoS ( TOW kislev ?) I have seen speculation that it could be more Kurnothi "aelves" for AoS, which seems reasonable. (The centuar/faun-ish ones.)
