It helps when you don´t consider a faction of being good/evil but rather them being strong/weak. This would also better reflect non-fictional conflicts. So in the end everybody is in for specific gains otherwise you would be a nut case, if you were going to war just to prove your cause is the epitome of virtue.

Unironically, the Imperium are the “Good Guys”. No, I will not be explaining. Heck, I’m not even checking for responses.

This topic would necessarily veer into real world politics to discuss properly as one’s political views shape what constitutes a “good guy” in the context of a government or military power in the first place.

 

That said, this is why I play World Eaters. Whoever the “good guys” are, the World Eaters are most definitely not it. It helps to stop worrying and learn to love the axe.
