Judging by the leaked image it is definitely Raptors, as warp talons would have claws, and the fellow on the image still has a regular hand and what seems to be a sword.

But yeah, they just might split it off and redo warptalons separately as they are basically jump possessed

I agree they should be jump possessed, and this should be more raptors.. nonetheless they do seem to be Warp talons :

Kill team is well known to add new weapon options to kits that previously didnt have those options, I think there is only one kill team that didnt and thats the Striking scorpions. The art like this also isnt always the "main loadout" it can be any random operative I think ( didnt double check though.) so it could well be that this is a single assassin type.

But beyond the weapons, the current kit distinguishes between Raptors and Warp Talons with 3 more elements :

-- Most significantly the wings, Raptors dont have them, Warp Talons do. The art also has them as you can see. ( and the logo uses the wings as well, these are not batwings in the logo. )
-- Second the feet, Raptors use spikes and warp talons use talons, but we cannot see the feet.

-- Thirdly the helmet, Raptors have a slightly more spacemarine like helmet with 2 side grills ( I dont know how to call it.), warp talons have a slightly different type of helmet, with horns and tubes at the side. To my eyes both helmets we see in the art fit more with the warp talon helmets ( though I dont see horns on the one with the blade either.) Also, the logo face looks more like the warp talon helmets ( but that could be hindsight bias.)

But like I said previously, Im pretty sure wether its a new kit or the old one with upgrade sprue ( the art looks so similar to that one ) it still builts both of them, maybe this team is even a third jumppack line.. its not warp talons and it isnt raptors either.. lets use the name Murder wings.

So from the Voidscarred kill team you can make a more traditional unit voidreavers for 40k, whereas Voidscarred is the 40k representation of the mixed operatives kill team unit, likewise, you could make Warp Talons, Raptors or Murder wings from this one. But only Murderwings  is the mixed arms kill team unit. ( Arbites do this too.)

edit : trying to remove the somehow duplicated images

It’s going to be a new kit/new models for sure. (If this leak proves to be true).

I can’t imagine it’ll be an upgrade sprue. The raptors/wt kit is from pre primaris times and have the old, and weird/awkward, space marine proportions that they are phasing out/updating across all their games.

There’s no way they are releasing a full new sprue and promoting the sales of an obsolete kit like that for Kill Team, when they could update it whole cloth.

Whether that new kit is Raptors, Warp Talons, or a new Third Thing, who knows.

But judging by previous, recent, KT-releases they’ll probably won’t pass up the chance to update a kit that needs it. And so Raptors seem likely.

I’m not convinced Warp Talons stays as an option in the kit, though, to be honest. (If so, perhaps they’ll return on their own at a future point).

Lets hope this is not upgrade sprue to old Raptors kit, this jumppack look to same on this art for me.

On Nachmund Crusade book they have few types of Jumppack, maybe this is the case

NL guy in bottom left corner:

That´s not a jump pack. It´s a miniature stadium floodlight.

I was going to comment on it being interesting how "off book" that art was, and how maybe it was a hint towards a new style of Raptors...

But then I noticed that the artist has also given Haarken Worldclaimer a helmet and "raptor feet" that his model lacks, so I guess they were just being a little loosey goosey.

More leaks that confirm this is real - new Raptors, and what appears to be a new Sororitas kit. Also, it seems they're doing NPO rules for the Nighbringer in Kill Team - I hope this is the start of a new trend, adding bigger models as 'end of mission boss' type events, that's great for solo/co-op/narrative gaming

Those Raptors/Warp Talons look different from the ones in the other picture.

Maybe it's a combined Warp Talon/Raptors team like the Wrecker Crew was that's split into 2 different units on the tabletop?

The Sisters look nice, tho unless we can't see the Warrior it looks like they're not a sword and board unit.

Adding a sword and board  unit after already having Sacresancts just didn't make sense, imo. Excited to see a bespoke power armor team for KT!

Another couple of pages that I don't think have been posted yet. Looks like Raptors can take the new Jump Lord:

So base weapon for sisters are condemnation combi-bolt pistol and nullification(?) Maces with the superior and 2 others having the option for inferno pistols, plus all the specialist options.

So a dedicated anti-witch squad.

I love the Sisters and I kind of don't like the Raptor models. The old 3rd Edition 2002 metal Raptors will always be the ideal Raptor for me. Other than that complaint this set is looking brilliant. The jump pack melta gunner and hunt master with the polearm are the two standouts for me. Bring back classic style special weapon armed Assault Marines!

So the Sisters shield is labeled Praesidium Protectiva- the mercurial yet eternal piece of wargear that has been connected to my sisters since 3rd.

If you know me, then you've probably seen a post or two about the Sisters of St Katherine's Aegis: the Aegis I'm referring to IS the Praesidium Protectiva born into battle by Saint Katherine herself in her capacity as Dominica's shieldbearer.

In the Witch Hunter dex, which I used from 3rd-5th, the Praesidium Protectiva was a piece of wargear- a shield that contained a small fragment of the Emperor's armour, conferring an Invulnerable save as a result of his divine protection. The shields were rare, but not unique, although the number that existed was never given.

In a massive Apocalypse game that has since become the stuff of legend, each player (there were six of us in two teams of three) got to personalize one of the objectives to provide a bit of a narrative hook about why each of these six armies was participating in the battle. I chose to make my objective the Shield of Saint Katherine... And since the only rules for shields anywhere in the dex were for the Praesidium, those were the rules I used.

Fast forward to 8th edition and the Triumph of Saint Katherine, and now the Praesidium Protectiva IS the Praesidium Protectiva! I'm not sure the new lore for Katherine's shield used "the" or "a" as the article for the Praesidium, but I remember feeling at the time like it had been retconned to being a single, unique shield.

And now it returns... And clarifies that there are in fact multiple Praesidia Protectiva.

This chicken feet look not great, rest is OK

Looks like he won't be compulsory for KT, chose one Boss plus 5 of the 8 options and only more than one  basic Rapaz.

Good, because I think that's the only dud in the pack.

The Sisters Team having 9 minis is nice, similar thing there too.

This kill will sell out in seconds, and the Internet will Burn!  Hopefully I can get one, no point not trying.

I'm really digging the combi stake-bolt pistols. The Bolter/flamer/melta trinity gets talks about a ton, but I love SoB Crossbows.

I also like the mutant Raptor, a lot, even his legs

Heh.

When the Nemesis Claw kit released, I used it plus Raptors bits and some Khorne Berzerkers to make a Jump Lord, Raptors, and Warptalons.

Looking at the lineup, I'm all ready to rock and roll - guess I just found some painting motivation!

Those Sisters look wonderful.  The Kill Team version of the kit looks like a decent replacement for Novitiates and another good parts pack.  Be interesting to see the 40K build.  Going to assume its ranged focused unlike what looks a more melee focused KT build.  I'll be sad to see Novitiates rotated out but the replacement is a winner.
