I do like that they kept them as marines wearing jump packs instead of all just mutating for the audacity of using a jump pack. Now just hoping that they actually pared out Warp Talons to get their own kit so they can sculpt them either massively mutated or fully reminiscent of the old metal raptors for maximum memberberries.

Censor: Admonition rod.

Abjurer (not the DnD mage, more like someone that renounces) blessed blade.

Denouncer? declamation staff.

Deathsanctioner? Pure guess. Twohanded blessed sword.

Incinerator, hand flamer and null mace (Null rod is Vara Nulificadora, so Maza Nulificadora should be null mace).

I can't tell if there are repeated poses or not. Only the superior have the tactical rock so there might be 9 models in the kit?

Those Sisters look wonderful.  The Kill Team version of the kit looks like a decent replacement for Novitiates and another good parts pack.  Be interesting to see the 40K build.  Going to assume its ranged focused unlike what looks a more melee focused KT build.  I'll be sad to see Novitiates rotated out but the replacement is a winner.

The ranged weapons are condemnor combi-bolt pistols with an inferno pistol and hand flamer, not really what I would call ranged focused when they have null maces as well. Probably a lot of anti-psyker though.

Are these the same scale as the old raptors?  I’m certainly not complaining about new kits but I like the old raptors fine.  These new ones look good other than chicken man.

The old Raptors predate the slight CSM upscale to "True Firstborn Scale" a.k.a roughly where HH is at.

So these new ones will be scaled to match the new Jump Lord (who incidentally is usable in this killteam).

These pretty much look like the old raptors could with an upgrade sprue. I assembled primed and base coated twenty of them recently and I'm really not seeing much differences in the torsos. Lot of similar legs and weapons too.

The Chaos Lord with JP is straight on one of the options for the kit from last year which I've seen people post like it is new, which is weird.

IMO these are different enough, thicker torsos, thicker legs, and added tassets end up with an overall more massive silhouette even though it is less trim, no spikes on the sides of the legs and smoother shoulder pads to allow for transfers.

If anything, these being so much more in line with regular legionnaires means you can heavily cross pollinate these two kits, maybe source some jump packs and just use legionnaires depending on the price.

So?  How big there is a chance this Raptors dont get bits to make Warptalons ?

At least as far as the rules go the roster includes Warptalons, listed here as Espolón de la Disformidad, though these seem tonit show any bespoke helmets or irregular claws, but do include the winglets.

Maybe the article today shines a light on it, otherwise we'll ha to wait and see.

I think they've decided that "Warp Talons" needed an identity refresh so what we have here is a new look for them.

I think they're still Daemonkin tho, judging by some of the bits but assumedly on the tabletop some options are Raptor specific and some are Warp Talon specific (probably the heavily mutated guy, for instance).

Also the presence of the Jump Lord here implies that whatever version of the units come to the tabletop from this, the Jump Lord will be able to lead them as well (which currently the Jump Lord cannot for whatever reason).

Article has arrived

Looks like Warp Talons and Raptors are now rolled into the "Murderwing" unit.

I'm wondering if that's just for the KT background on it and they'll just have the normal split datasheets for 40k.  Or maybe they'll condense it, but I think that'd be weird.

Looking at some of the stills I can see 10 sisters in the kit all on the same page. Bit less clear with the raptors, however.

I can see multiple Marines with the same legs, so besides the Mutated Guy I think it's probably 2 sets of 5-man sprue for them.

So no Nightbringer but does come with the Chaos Lord, I guess that's not surprising. Still going to be a nightmare to get hold of a box, I expect.

I also find it funny we're getting an anti-Psyker Sister team... and it's Sisters of Battle. Not that it doesn't make sense or anything, just amusing. Great models all-around though.

Wild that this isn't even the next Kill Team box though:

I know stuff has a habit of occasionally leaking out very far in advance (the Slaves To Darkness army box comes to mind), but damn.
