But yeah, they just might split it off and redo warptalons separately as they are basically jump possessed I agree they should be jump possessed, and this should be more raptors.. nonetheless they do seem to be Warp talons : Kill team is well known to add new weapon options to kits that previously didnt have those options, I think there is only one kill team that didnt and thats the Striking scorpions. The art like this also isnt always the "main loadout" it can be any random operative I think ( didnt double check though.) so it could well be that this is a single assassin type. But beyond the weapons, the current kit distinguishes between Raptors and Warp Talons with 3 more elements : -- Most significantly the wings, Raptors dont have them, Warp Talons do. The art also has them as you can see. ( and the logo uses the wings as well, these are not batwings in the logo. ) -- Second the feet, Raptors use spikes and warp talons use talons, but we cannot see the feet. -- Thirdly the helmet, Raptors have a slightly more spacemarine like helmet with 2 side grills ( I dont know how to call it.), warp talons have a slightly different type of helmet, with horns and tubes at the side. To my eyes both helmets we see in the art fit more with the warp talon helmets ( though I dont see horns on the one with the blade either.) Also, the logo face looks more like the warp talon helmets ( but that could be hindsight bias.) But like I said previously, Im pretty sure wether its a new kit or the old one with upgrade sprue ( the art looks so similar to that one ) it still builts both of them, maybe this team is even a third jumppack line.. its not warp talons and it isnt raptors either.. lets use the name Murder wings. So from the Voidscarred kill team you can make a more traditional unit voidreavers for 40k, whereas Voidscarred is the 40k representation of the mixed operatives kill team unit, likewise, you could make Warp Talons, Raptors or Murder wings from this one. But only Murderwings is the mixed arms kill team unit. ( Arbites do this too.) edit : trying to remove the somehow duplicated images Edited yesterday at 03:38 AM by TheMawr skylerboodie and Interrogator Stobz 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386389-potential-night-lords-vs-sisters-of-battle-kill-team-set/page/3/#findComment-6125546 Share on other sites

It’s going to be a new kit/new models for sure. (If this leak proves to be true). I can’t imagine it’ll be an upgrade sprue. The raptors/wt kit is from pre primaris times and have the old, and weird/awkward, space marine proportions that they are phasing out/updating across all their games. There’s no way they are releasing a full new sprue and promoting the sales of an obsolete kit like that for Kill Team, when they could update it whole cloth. Whether that new kit is Raptors, Warp Talons, or a new Third Thing, who knows. But judging by previous, recent, KT-releases they’ll probably won’t pass up the chance to update a kit that needs it. And so Raptors seem likely. I’m not convinced Warp Talons stays as an option in the kit, though, to be honest. (If so, perhaps they’ll return on their own at a future point). Agrest_IW Posted yesterday at 08:21 AM Share Posted yesterday at 08:21 AM (edited) Lets hope this is not upgrade sprue to old Raptors kit, this jumppack look to same on this art for me. On Nachmund Crusade book they have few types of Jumppack, maybe this is the case Edited yesterday at 08:21 AM by Agrest_IW Interrogator Stobz and LSM 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386389-potential-night-lords-vs-sisters-of-battle-kill-team-set/page/3/#findComment-6125567 Share on other sites
