jingus Posted 19 hours ago Share Posted 19 hours ago Hi, I have purchased several zillion KT boxes and even painted some of them, played one game at a LGS and ehh, maybe I'll try again. I however really enjoy assembling and painting (albeit poorly) the models, and am considering getting stuff needed for an actual big army, but it's hard to decide on a faction. What I really love is the lore, and have read nothing but 40/30k books the entirety of 2025 - probably already over like 40 books. Some are good, some aren't so great, but I'm showing no signs of stopping much to my wife's chagrin. If anyone has any recommendations for books that are a little bit lighter on the battles and heavier on slice of life stuff, I'd be extremely interested. With millions of inhabited worlds, certainly some of them are relatively untouched by xenos or Ruinous Powers and I'd like to learn more about that. (I did read one of the Warhammer Crime books, which did kinda scratch that itch.) I also firmly believe the Imperium are 100% the good guys. Extremism in the pursuit of liberty is no vice!
