Hello. For the past year and a half I have been working on a Home-brewed edition for Warhammer 40k that I have called Battlemace 5000.

There are three main things I want to do with my edition.

1 is to make it Alternate Activation.

2 is to allow expression in list building. You probably have heard the term Herohammer. This is that but spread across the entire army.

3 is to reduce what I see as the homogenization of factions that has been happening in 10th edition. I want every army to play and feel very different.

I have played several games of this with my local play group and we have had a great time with it. I am certain that there are other people out there that would also enjoy Battlemace. This is still the first version of the rules. I plan on continuing to edit them as I notice issues, as well as to finish adding the remaining units.
